Dr. Mary Amore (Executive Director) holds a Doctor of Ministry Degree in Liturgy and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies from Catholic Theological Union. She is the Executive Director of Mayslake Ministries based in Lombard, IL. Dr. Amore is the author of Primary Symbols of Worship and the Call to Participation, as well as numerous articles in the area of liturgical spirituality.

In her professional ministry, Mary is a highly sought-after presenter of missions, retreats and workshops in the Diocese of Joliet and the Archdiocese of Chicago. She is a Cardinal Bernardin Scholar and a distinguished member of the North American Academy of Liturgy. Formerly, she served as full-time Director of Liturgy and Adult Faith Formation for St. Mary of Gostyn Parish in Downers Grove for fourteen years. Mary resides in Downers Grove with her husband, and they are parents of two young adults.

Fr. Jonathan Foster, OFM (Founder) is a priest of the Franciscan Province of the Sacred Heart and the former director of Mayslake Ministries. He received his Ph.D. in Adult Education and Development from the University of Chicago & continues to be involved in adult spiritual formation in myriad levels. Fr. Jonathan has been active as a writer, publishing articles in several journals. He also presents weekend retreats, book studies, & is an experienced spiritual director.
