Rev. David H. Mowry, S.T.L., DMin. Fr. David Mowry is a priest of the Diocese of Joliet. Ordained in 2013, he served as parochial vicar at Immaculate Conception Parish in Elmhurst and then at St. Mary Immaculate Parish in Plainfield. He has shared his joy and his enthusiasm for the Good News as a mission speaker, preacher, and retreat leader. In 2023, he received his Doctor of Ministry in Preaching degree from the Aquinas Institute of Theology.His doctoral research investigated how use the spirituality of St. Ignatius of Loyola to improve parishioner feedback on seminarian preaching. Fr. David currently serves as the Waud Chair of Homiletics at the University of St. Mary of the Lake/Mundelein Seminary. fatherdavidmowry.com
